This scholarship is open to all international students intending to enrol in the first year of an undergraduate degree at Victoria University of Wellington. 

Scholarship Awarded

You will be awarded NZD 10,000 for the first year of study at Victoria University of Wellington (VUW). 

Are You Eligible?

To opt for this scholarship, certain requirements must be met. Do you have what it takes? Let us check. 

• Applicants must be enrolling in their first year of their first undergraduate degree.
• Applicants must be international full-fee-paying students.
• Applicants must be at a minimum age-group regional, state, or national representative in their selected sport.

Selection Criteria

This scholarship will be awarded to you based on your sports achievements, academic records, and leadership skills in sports or other life circumstances. 

Scholarship Specific Documents Required

• A personal statement outlining your goals and ambitions.
• Evidence of your performance in your selected sport over the past year. 

Selection Process

The undergraduate scholarship committee of Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington will look after the selection in consultation with staff and the head of Sport and Recreation. 

Deadline 

This scholarship will officially close on September 1st. Therefore, make sure to apply early to get considered.
